Our guide was tremendous.....and the tour was great (although tons of tourists)! Best part was the little bits & pieces of information that was shared by the guide that would not be in the tour books. Highly recommend this tour.

Wir waren sehr zufrieden. Den Treffpunkt hatten wir gleich gefunden. Unser Guide Christian war überpünktlich da und hat uns freundlich in Empfang genommen. Man hat gemerkt, dass er als Wiener für die Geschichte seiner Stadt brennt. Von ihm haben wir bereits bevor wir uns die prachtvollen Räumlichkeiten im Schloss angesehen haben, schon interessante und wertvolle Informationen zur Geschichte des Schlosses und der Historie der Habsburger erhalten. Auch im Schloss und im Garten gab es viel zu sehen und zu erzählen. Im Schloss gab es Kopfhörer für alle zur akustischen Verstärkung, damit wir Christian's Ausführung zu jeder Zeit gut hören konnten. Auch der Schnelleinlass hat super funktioniert, vorbei an der langen Warteschlange der anderen Besucher.

Very happy with the guided tour inside the castle and the garden. Our guide Celine was excellent! We were told the stories of the rooms and the people residing in the castle, the women and their stories- -a true insiders view and understanding elevated the walk through the rooms. Celine had good control of the group, even if other people entered the rooms and it became a bit crowded at times. I would absolutely recommend Celine as your guide and the company arranging the tours!

Very well informed guide. Though Michel would have done this routine thousands of times, his diction, inflexion, story-telling and command of the English language was exemplary. He also had a good sense of humour and kept us gripped with genuine interest.

Unsere Schloss Schönbrunn Führung mit Christian von Rosotravel war einfach großartig. Die Geschichte wurde absolut unterhaltsam und informativ übermittelt. Es war wirklich ein Erlebnis, und wir haben ganz viel Wissen mitgenommen. Christian war wirklich ein wandelndes Lexikon. Ihm zuzuhören war wirklich eine Freude. Noch kurz zu erwähnen ist, dass wir eigentlich zu spät waren und selbst da die Veranstalter uns hilfreich zur Seite standen und wir im Gewimmel noch mitlaufen konnten. Auch die Informationen vorab, was , wie und wohin top organisiert. Vielen Dank an Christian und an Sie!

What’s not allowed

Drones, selfie sticks, tripods, flash photography, and lighting equipment are banned. Photography is limited to non-commercial use with mobile phones.

There is no storage for luggage, large bags, umbrellas, or extra clothing, so bring only essential items.

Pets are not permitted. Make suitable arrangements before your visit.

Bicycles and private vehicles are not allowed inside the palace park.

Accessibility

This tour is not suitable for wheelchair users. Some historic State Rooms can only be accessed by stairs, and step-free routes are not available.

Additional information

Book tickets online 2 to 3 weeks ahead to avoid long waits, especially during peak seasons such as summer, Easter, and Christmas.

Your meeting point will depend on your ticket type and will be stated in your booking confirmation. It will be either the Group Center, the Ehrenhof Fountain (look for the green umbrella), or the Arrival Center at HOHO Bus Stop 30.

Arrive 10 to 15 minutes before the start time, as late arrivals cannot join.

Tours operate in a single language chosen at the time of booking.

Group sizes are capped at 25 guests to ensure a more personal experience.

Personal audio devices with headphones are provided, though you may bring your own with a 3.5 mm jack.

The gardens, main courtyard, fountains, Great Parterre, Roman Ruin, and public paths are open to visitors during park hours.

In extreme weather, the garden visit may be replaced. Between November 8 and January 6, a local Christmas Market visit is offered instead.

The Privy Garden, Orangery Garden, Maze, Labyrinth, and Gloriette viewing terrace require separate tickets and close 30 to 45 minutes before the palace (between 3:30 pm and 6 pm depending on the season).

The Group Center near the main gate offers free lockers, baby changing facilities, accessible toilets, and an ATM.
