As a true soccer fan, I really enjoyed this wonderful stadium tour. The entire visit was well organized: the instructions were clear, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the whole tour was top-notch, just as you’d expect from Ajax. We opted for a self-guided tour, but a guided tour had just started right behind us. The guide was also very friendly and knew an incredible number of facts and trivia. It was definitely worth it and a fun experience.

Here’s what stood out most to me during the tour: Access to the official locker room: Taking a seat where the players sit and experiencing the pre-game preparations is the highlight of the tour. Entering through the players’ tunnel: Walking through the tunnel to the sound of the fans’ chants and emerging onto the edge of the field is a thrilling experience and makes for some great photo opportunities. The Hall of Fame: The exhibition beautifully traces Johan Cruyff’s legacy, the concept of “total football,” and the major European trophies won by the club.

It was really nice—a great place to spend time with your significant other—but they close off access to certain areas before closing time, so you can’t take photos there. Keep that in mind.

A great experience with kids. I recommend planning your visit right when it opens. It gets crowded after that. I’d especially like to point out that you can download pictures for free after your visit using a QR code. Many attractions usually charge extra for this. We’re new to taking funny photos. If you want to get the most out of it, you should come up with some ideas beforehand.
