A unique experience! The Great Synagogue is an impressive building due to its unique architecture. The interior is surprising because of the mix of styles, including, from its design, similarities with Catholic churches. In addition, the Spanish-speaking guide explained the history in detail, along with the different elements that make it so characteristic—such as its great organ—and, most movingly, the events that occurred during World War II and the murder of thousands of Jews buried in the garden of the Synagogue... the role of the diplomat Wallenberg, who saved 5,000 Jews from death, and the Tree of Life with the inscription of more than 4,000 murdered Jews on each leaf... An essential, moving visit that serves as a reminder of the tragedy of the Shoah...

Excellent visit. Definitely worth it, truly memorable. A place full of symbolism and emotional weight. The maintenance of the space is worth highlighting.
