Die Tour ist echt empfehlenswert. Unser Guide hatte ein breites Wissen und konnte uns viel vermitteln. Lediglich die Gruppengröße war ein Wahnsinn. 20 Personen in den doch kleineren Räumen und dann noch weitere Besucher:innen war einfach viel zu viel. Oft konnte man nur seitlich stehen und nicht sehen, was der Guide zeigte, weil einfach kein Platz war. Bis auf diesen organisatorischen Punkt sonst wirklich top. 10 Personen pro Guide wäre echt ideal.

Very interesting tour and very well explained...only a bit too long if going with children because you will walk a lot and will go down through lots of steps... they were very tired towards the end. Overall we enjoyed the visit and our guide was excellent

The guide David was very knowledgeable and made the tour interesting, he made the tour flow and gave us opportunities of seeing the museum at its finest and didnt rush us before seeing the section he ws tslking about. David also gave us time to ask questions if we wanted too. David gave us an insight and emotion of what the Jewish people and Krakow people wrnt through when the occupation of the Germans took them. It was also interesting to find out what Osker Shindler did to help the Jewish workers escape and how he supported them during and after with his wife. Also it was nice that the museum had original artifacts also to bring the story alive with David. It was also interesting to what tje Krakow and Polish people were doing and how hard it was for them during the occupation. I would definitely recommend this tour skd David as a guided tour person .

Like descending into another planet. The Wieliczka Salt Mine isn't a "mine" — it's a 700-year-old underground city carved entirely out of salt. You go down 800 steps and suddenly you're walking through grey salt tunnels, then a massive chapel where EVERYTHING - the chandeliers, the altar, the statues - is made of salt. The St. Kinga's Chapel literally took my breath away. It's cold (17°C year-round), it's deep (135m underground), and it's surreal. The acoustics, the underground lakes, the air that tastes salty... you feel the weight of centuries of miners who created this. Tip: Book the first morning tour. No crowds, and the light inside the chapel is magical. A must-do in Krakow. 10/10.

Je recommande cette visite sans hésiter, vous allez descendre a 135 m de profondeur. Et voir comme des hommes et les animaux ont travaillé pour pouvoir extraire le sel. Cela va vous émerveiller par son histoire, ses galeries immenses, ces chapelles, ces lacs.... Pour les français, je recommande le guide Marek Czyzowsk (Marc) un super guide qui vous expliquera l'histoire et les merveilles de cette mine avec un pointe humour pour passer une agréable visite. Je remercie Marek pour ce moment inoubliable, un très grand merci à lui, il a su animé cette visite avec professionnalisme et humour pour pouvoir passer un agréable moment. Un guide en or. There was a lot of information to take on board so we're very pleased to have had a guided tour. This way felt more manageable to take in the information. However, due to the size of the group, and number of groups going around at one time, there wasn't much time to stop and reflect on what we had been told, or to properly look at photographs or items as we headed off to the next part. All in all though, we felt we got great value from our guide and we would recommend. The booking process and communication was simple and easy too. Thank you.

En general es un buen tour, caminas mucho por las minas y te van explicando la historia de la mina en el trayecto. Diría que le pongo 4 estrellas nada más porque no se le entendía bien al guía por su acento ( el tour fue en inglés ). Pero todo lo demás bien en general, el templo es lo que más destaca del tour en mi opinión

Although the guide was great, the best part was the fantastic experience itself. Walking through the underground chambers, carvings and chapels of the Wieliczka Salt Mine was something special. The tour was well organised and easy to follow, and it made for a memorable day. I would happily recommend it.

Very knowledgeable guide. Learnt so much about Krakow during WW2 as well as about Schindler. Slightly confusing entry system - we didn't know what to do on arrival. A sign for where to wait for guided tours would be useful.

The absolutely perfect organisation . The mines themselves were breathtaking. The tour guide was amazing and knowledgeable. The area is beutifull. Parking not expensive and plenty of car parking.

What to bring

Bring along comfortable walking shoes as the route has around 800 stairs.

What's not allowed

Keep in mind electric torches and cigarettes are not allowed on this experience. Pack wisely!

Due to venue restrictions, pets cannot tag along for this experience.

Accessibility

This experience is not accessible by wheelchair. Some of the underground paths on the Tourist Route have been modified to accommodate individuals with limited mobility.

Your guide dogs are welcome at the venue.

Additional information

Facilities: restroom and lockers.

The temperature underground tends to reach 17–18°C. Dress in layers for adaptable comfort.

In exceptional cases, some of the chambers of the Tourist Route might be excluded from the guided tour.

Telecommunication signals will not reach you in the mine. However, a designated place is available to use free WiFi and make phone calls.
