This was my first visit to Top Of The Rock. I enjoyed seeing the sights through the eyes of my 10 year old guest. I am sure this visit, linked with his annual visit to FAO Schwarz, will be the prime topic of his back-to-school conversations with his friends.

Our visit to the Rockefeller centre Top of the Rock experience was fantastic able to view the amazing skyline's of New York. It was great seeing the views and going out on the beam and having our photos taken. It was quite an experience for our 20th Wedding Anniversary , and we loved seeing another young couple tying the knot!

This basic Top of the Rock ticket is a great experience. Amazing views. Spent extra on the "beam experience" - definitely not worth it- couldn't take photos (had to pay for theirs, which didn't turn out)...are up on the beam for about 2 minutes, up around and down.

Smooth end to end. The QR ticket scanned right away and we were up on the deck within minutes. Timing it for sunset was the best decision, golden light over the whole skyline, then the city lighting up. Worth every penny.

Start your visit in the Welcome Gallery, which features a 10-foot model of the Rockefeller Center campus and plays a 5-minute immersive film about the origins of Top of the Rock.

Access all three levels of the observation deck (67th, 69th, and 70th), moving from indoors to outdoors, and enjoy spectacular views of NYC.

Upgrade to The Beam experience to recreate the iconic 1932 Lunch atop a Skyscraper photo or a VIP Pass for a guided tour of the landmark and a private ride on The Beam and SkyLift.

Getting started

Arrive at the main entrance of 30 Rockefeller Plaza, marked by a red carpet on 50th Street between 5th and 6th Avenues. Present your mobile barcode at the Top of the Rock box office for ticket validation and proceed through security before heading to the elevators.
