Good experience, I would go as early as you can as the course gets busy and can be stop start with loads of people there. There's a few tricky spots and a family with young kids left early doing it as the kids were scared but all good if you have quad experience

Took the plunge with two friends and it was SUCH a rush! Never tried rafting before and was a bit worried about falling out but our guide, Komang, was super chilled and made us laugh the whole way. The river was pretty full (guess it’d rained the day before), so the rapids were extra bumpy. Whole trip took about 2.5 hours, with a quick pitstop at a waterfall for photos. Bring your own water bottle btw, the drinks at the halfway stop are kinda overpriced. We all left knackered but buzzing. Def recommend but wear shoes with grippy soles, those steps are NO joke!

Went with my boyfriend and honestly, we almost chickened out at the stairs (they’re sooooo steep). Glad we didn’t. Our guide, Budi, was a LEGEND and kept us feeling safe even though I was screaming half the time. Lunch after was meh (nothing special, just rice and some veggies) but the rafting itself is what we came for. Would do again but maybe bring my own snacks next time.
