We used a three-day ticket for our long weekend in Barcelona. It was incredibly convenient! Since the distances between the sights are quite significant, the metro was the perfect choice. Activating the ticket was simple using the QR code received via email; we did this at the metro station just around the corner from our hotel. I didn't quite understand how to do it at first, but I asked at the help desk—excellent, speedy service.

Comodissimo avere un biglietto per andare dove vuoi, senza pensieri. L'unica difficoltà è stata trovare il punto per convalidare il biglietto, siamo andati ovunque ma dopo fatta la fila non era il posto giusto, se può servire per chi deve ancora andare, bisogna cercare le macchinette rosse e grandi direttamente in metropolitana.

De kaart is fantastisch maar via headout betaal je onnodig extra servicekosten en krijg je een ouderwetse kaart zonder qr code die je niet kan scannen maar elke keer in de reader van het poortje moet stoppen

Het valideren van de kaart kon niet bij elk metrostation. Maar alleen op station place catalunia. Een behulpzame metro medewerker liet mij toe zodat ik zonder extra kosten op place catalunia kon komen.

Es war schwierig, an den Terminals die vorher gebuchten Tickets zu aktivieren. Die Funktion war sehr versteckt. Aber wenn man sie gefunden hat, klappt alles prima!

Seamless activation

Once you purchase the card, your voucher will be sent via email with a personalized code.

Enter this code at a ticket vending machine in any metro station to obtain your physical pass. This eliminates the need for shipping costs or long queues.

Hop on metros and buses around the city, and begin your adventure!

Validity

Before activation: Your pass is valid for 180 days from the date of purchase, or until the last day of February of the following year at the latest.

After activation: Your pass is activated as soon as you use it for the first time and is valid for the number of 24-hour periods chosen. For example, if you select a 48-hour pass and take any public transport at 3pm on a Monday afternoon, your pass is valid till Wednesday 3pm.

Additional information

The pass cannot be used by another person.

Children under the age of 4 years can travel for free.
