Park Guell was a highlight of my trip to Barcelona! Book your tickets in advance as we did not do that and assumed if we showed up we'd be able to buy tickets. You infact cannot and you have to buy them online. They don't have a box office to buy tickets. Entrance was easy, guiding the park yourself was fun as you got to explore so many different parts of it. Beautiful views. Fair warning - A lot of walking involved. We went peak time at 4:30 when the sun was out and it was hot. I was hugging and puffing. Walking up the entrance was also quite a mission as ubers and taxis can't go up that hill.

Everything went very smoothly, from the booking and the tickets to the entry etc. The Park itself was definitely well worth the visit. It was a highlight of our trip. There is plenty to see and it is spread out in a way that means nowhere seemed too crowded (apart from the place where the lizard is, which is understandable, as that's the picture that's usually associated with Park Guell)! We took a packed lunch with us and ate it in a picnic area that had benches and tables. The whole place was very clean and a complete joy to visit. Thank you to Headout for making it so easy for us.

We had an amazing time! Its the most must see place in the city, with an amazing view. We had the opportunity to see an extraordinary architectural structure, of the magnificent Mr. Gaudi. The houses are out of this planet! The paths are like a fairytale! We took the most beautiful pictures for instagram, afte this visit I am really considering to become a traveling vlogger. Thank you for this opportunity, we are considering to come back tomorrow because today we had the general ticket and we would like to take the full pass for the whole experience! See you soon!

Purchased online, the WiFi is weak at the park so make sure to follow the steps to upload your tickets in your mobile prior to arrival. Once you arrive it is a seamless entrance experience. Plenty of curved walkways to go through, if you have little ones, I was surprised plenty of Suprise kids playgrounds and small basket ball court (bring a ball). Before you know it from each point you have a beautiful view. And notice you have already seen more than expected and what was already shown on social media. Much more you see.

First of all it was the client support experience. Although we faced certain limitations with our visit, both the Headout team and their partner made arrangements so we did not miss the visit. Parc Güell è veramente molto bello.Siamo arrivati con largo anticipo rispetto all'orario previsto per la visita, ma ci hanno lasciato entrare. Pensare che un uomo abbia progettato nei minimi dettagli una simile meraviglia è veramente impressionante. Il parco va visitato con calma gustando sia la parte architettonica che quella paesaggistica. Stupende le vedute sulla città di Barcellona.

Ho comprato i biglietti digitali, arrivati all'entrata non riuscivo a vederli sul cellulare perché non avevo campo. Aiutati da una steward molto gentile in un attimo ci ha fatto collegare al wi-fi del parco e abbiamo scaricato i biglietti e siamo entrati velocemente. Parco meraviglioso abbiamo camminato agevolmente, con calma, ammirando ogni opera. Da tornarci sicuramente ❤️

The guide was actually perfect it was one of those with an ear clippy thing so it doesn't have to be too loud or you can turn it up if hard of hearing.the guide gave fun facts as we went and it was a nice slow pace so it wasn't rushed. He actually had a good sense of humour. Definitely worth doing the tour as he provided added incite such as the water collection system.

Getting Started

Arrive at the recommended entrance on Avinguda del Santuari de Sant Josep de la Muntanya, where escalator access is available. Present your ticket at the main gate for validation and proceed through a brief security check before entering the park.

What to bring

Wear comfortable walking shoes as this experience involves a fair amount of walking on uneven paths and multiple stairways.

During the summer months, it is recommended to bring hats/caps to protect from the sun, and water for hydration due to high temperatures.

Accessibility

For visitors with mobility problems, Park Güell offers two free wheelchairs for hire (subject to availability).

The tourist coach car park has three places for people with reduced mobility.

Additional information

During peak season, April to August, expect a considerable wait time at entry.

Note: Park Güell has three entrances—choose what suits you! Av. del Santuari de Sant Josep de la Muntanya has escalators (though it’s steep), Carretera del Carmel (nº 23) is ideal for coach drop-off, and Carrer d’Olot brings you right into the Monumental Zone.

If you'd like to skip a lot of climbing and stairs, a great option is to take public transport like Bus #24 or grab a taxi. This will get you to the entrance at Carretera del Carmel, which is just a short 100 meters from the bus stop. You'll find the area with the monuments only another 100 meters in, and mostly flat 200-meter stroll!

Children under 6 can enter for free, they just need free tickets. For a seamless entry, book their free tickets during checkout.

Guests are allowed to bring outside food and water into the venue. However, they must consume it in the designated picnic areas only.

The audio guide is available on the Headout app. Instructions to download will be shared with your ticket, and you can also access them offline. Do bring your own headphones.
