The story

In Unicorn, we follow the apparently ideal pair Polly and Nick as they explore polyamory. Even though they're happy, secure, and have a family, they still feel that something is missing. Kate, a third party whose entrance into their lives questions their conceptions of love, trust, and desire, provides the spark they've been seeking.

By delving into topics like infidelity, social expectations, and the complexities of a relationship with a third partner, the play manages to be both funny and thought-provoking. As is typical of Bartlett's work, the story deftly blends humor and heartfelt moments to provide readers with an insightful look at modern love.
