The Lena Hornne theatre is absolutely spectacular and the seats were so much more roomier than at other theaters. When the performance began it didn't seem like a show that would give us much of the history of the six wives. But as soon as the first wife started singing solo, we were captivated as well as entertained. Each wife was great at drawing us into that time period, especially the third and the last wives. The ensemble brought a piece of history alive and entertained us at the same time.

    The story

    In Six The Musical on Broadway, the ex-wives of Henry VIII step out of history and onto the mic to tell their own stories. Through electrifying pop anthems, each Queen, Catherine, Anne, Jane, Anna, Katherine, and Catherine, competes to prove who had it worst with the King. What begins as a battle of heartbreaks soon becomes a celebration of sisterhood and survival that’s rewriting history with harmony.

    I saw SIX in New York and absolutely loved the experience. The cast brought so much energy and personality to every performance, and the live concert atmosphere kept the audience engaged the entire time. The music was catchy, empowering, and beautifully performed, with each queen bringing her own standout moment to the stage. The costumes, lighting, and choreography all came together perfectly and made the show feel modern, vibrant, and unforgettable. It was one of the most entertaining theater experiences I’ve had and I would highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys musicals with strong vocals, humor, and nonstop energy.

    Das war eine sehr ansprechende Aufführung, mit sehr viel Humor, fantastischen Stimmen, tollen Kostümen und äußerst gut gelaunten Darstellerinnen. Die Parts in Deutsch fande ich besonders lustig.
