The guide Katelina is very knowledgeable and provided detailed information prior to the monastery visit. She also ensure that everyone is well taken care of and answered all our questions. The tour ends quite late at about 10.20pm.

The experience with Headout was just awesome! Timely pick up, driver George was a good spirited guy and our guide Maria had quite the Greek delivery of the stories sorrounding The Meteora 😂. I am retelling some of the stories in her tone 😁 I have posted so many photos but I keep telling my friends back in Kenya, the deeply felt experiences are exactly those I could not capture on camera 🤷🏽‍♀️ Poli orea! Telio!! Fantastico!!!

È stata una esperienza bellissima. Ci siamo goduti un viaggio tranquillo con l'autobus, con autisti competenti e professionali. Abbiamo fatto due soste intermedie dove abbiamo potuto rifocillarci e, arrivati a kalambaka abbiamo consumato un ottimo pranzo, compreso nella prenotazione, che consiglio a tutti. Il luogo ed monasteri poi, erano bellissimi e siamo stati accompagnati in tre di essi. Bisogna avere con sé contanti per accedere e le donne devono vestire la gonna, anche se in alcuni di essi la forniscono loro. La guida è stata molto cordiale e competente, che dire, esperienza consigliatissima

Greek lunch ahead

There's more to this tour! Located at the foothills of Meteora, explore the charming town of Kalambaka. Here, savor a meal at a local restaurant including a fresh salad, your choice of main dish, freshly baked bread, and water. After exploring the town, hop back onto your bus and return to Athens.

7:45am: Depart from designated meeting point opposite the Central Railway Station of Athens (Stathmos Larisis)

By noon: Arrive at Meteora

Strict dress code: Inside the monasteries, men must wear long trousers and women must wear long skirts and cover their shoulders.
