Never thought I'd be up BEFORE sunrise on a vacation but for this balloon ride, I’d do it again in a heartbeat. Me and my partner were so sleepy but once we were in the basket, wow, just pure magic. The sunrise was UNREAL, like the whole sky basically turned orange and pink. The pilot (can’t remember his name—started with M?) was super chill and explained all the stuff about the wind and landing. We floated over some little villages, waved at people, and it honestly felt so peaceful, I almost forgot I’m terrified of heights. The landing was smooth, kinda bouncy but nothing crazy. Breakfast after was a nice touch—fresh fruit, breads, some kind of spicy jam I’d never had before. Only thing, bring a jacket, it gets colder up there than you think! Def a core memory.

We went as a group of 4 friends and all agreed it’s worth the early wake up. The crew was friendly (shout out to Youssef!), and they even let us watch them inflate the balloon, which was cooool. A lil crowded in the basket tbh, but I guess that’s expected. The views, though—just stunning. Surprised how quiet it was up there! Only minus, wish we’d had more time for pics, felt a bit rushed before landing. Breakfast was solid but not mindblowing, just standard stuff. Would do again for sure.

If you ever wanted to feel like you’re floating in a dream, do this. Went with my sister, who kept giggling the whole time because she couldn’t believe the view. The basket was a bit crowded but everyone was friendly. Our pilot was named Hassan and he pointed out all the villages and even spotted some wild donkeys. After landing, there was a lil celebration and breakfast with these DELICIOUS little honey pancakes. Never had anything like them. Highly recommend!

This was our first balloon ride and honestly, I was shaking at first! Turns out, it's super chill up there, not scary at all. My kids (9 and 12) LOVED it, especially seeing camels from above lol. The pilot was funny and kept making balloon jokes. Pro tip: tie up your hair if it's long, the burners are kinda hot. The views at sunrise? EPIC. Breakfast after was actually better than our hotel, with sweet pastries and mint tea. 10/10 adventure for families.

So I did this solo because my partner is scared of heights. Didn’t regret it! The staff made me feel welcome from the jump. The actual floating part is sooo smooth, you barely feel you’re moving. Loved the colors in the sky and the tiny farms below. Met a couple from Brazil in my basket and we swapped travel stories while waiting for breakfast. Only tip: don’t drink too much coffee before, no bathrooms up there!
