We thought we wanted to tour it on our own, but the easiest way to get tickets was with a tour. That turned out to be the way to go. Our guide was fantastic and made the whole tour worth every minute!Amin

Experience overall was pretty good. but I think you should mention the meeting point (in the ticket) as "behind the ambulences" or something more obvious than Plazza Duomo n.19/20 because its very difficult to find the location. nevertheless it was a great experience, thank you!Paul

Florence Cathedral
The stunning Santa Maria del Fiore Cathedral, one of the greatest churches in Europe, centers medieval Florence. It has lovely terracotta roles and is Florence's most recognizable landmark. This magnificent building served as the backdrop for the Italian Renaissance.
With these skip-the-line tickets, you will get to explore the cathedral up close as you make your way through it with a professional guide. Learn about its history and see some of the most beautiful frescoes in the world, including Vasari’s iconic The Last Judgment, completed posthumously by Federico Zuccari.
Pro Tip: While the cathedral in itself is legendary, to truly appreciate the way it dominates the skyline, you will need a little more distance to see the way it erupts right from the center of Florence. Boboli Garden, San Miniato al Monte, and Piazzale Michelangelo are some of the most popular places to admire the cathedral from.
Museum of Misericordia
Apart from the tour, you can also access the Museum of Misericordia on your own time and admire works by a number of world-famous artists. Keep an eye out for The Seven Works of Mercy by Caravaggio and San Girolamo by Hendrick van Someren.
