About Grevin Museum
The renowned Grevin Wax Museum, founded in 1882 in Paris, houses a diverse collection of meticulously crafted wax figures portraying famous personalities, such as Albert Einstein, Marilyn Monroe, Vincent Van Gogh, and many others. Check out the wax figures in the museum now!
Grevin Wax Museum was one of the first wax museums to introduce interactive features, such as touch screens and sound effects, enhancing the immersive experience for all.
Adding a fascinating layer of authenticity, the museum showcases actual artifacts in select exhibits, such as the knife and bathtub used in the dramatic scene portraying Charlotte Corday's historic assassination of Jean-Paul Marat.
The museum incorporates live actors among the wax figurines as an engaging touch. These actors skillfully freeze into statuesque poses, surprising visitors when they suddenly spring to life, adding a hilarious element to the experience.
In a unique collaboration, contemporary celebrities often offer their favorite designers to create costumes for their wax figures or generously donate their personal outfits to the museum's collection.
The museum crafts each wax figure meticulously - individually implanting natural hair and adorning it with accessories authentic to their respective characters, enhancing the overall authenticity of the exhibits.
