It was fantastic from start to finish. Lovely people checked us in, and then one took us on the short walk to the gondola. Our gondalier was lovely and took us on a fabulously peaceful tour of the back street canals before emerging back onto mainstream Venice. Couldn't recommend it highly enough!

Great, we had it scheduled for the afternoon before, but then it poured down—hahaha. According to their policy, they don't cancel or reschedule, but they were super nice and moved it to the next morning. They even set up an activity for us beforehand with 3D glasses—it was really cool.
