Jun 20265/5So I dragged my little brother along thinking he’d moan the whole time, but honestly, we BOTH loved it! The mud volcanoes are wild, like bubbling chocolate pudding, and the wind tried to steal my hat (hold on to ur stuff, lol). Our guide, Sadiq, was super fun and told us all these cool stories about the rock carvings—felt like a time-travel movie. The old Lada we took to the volcanoes was a bumpy adventure of its own. I was worried about crowds but it never felt packed, maybe cuz we went early? Weather was breezy, not too hot. Walked away with muddy shoes and a bunch of random facts. It’s a bit out of town but SO worth it. Would go again, def!May 20265/5Family of four—two teens, us parents, and one very dramatic sunburn. But honestly, the views and stories made up for it. Our guide, Farid, had endless patience for my kids’ questions (and their eye rolls). Loved the hands-on stuff at the museum. The mud volcanoes were waaaay cooler than expected, like something outta sci-fi. Don’t wear white shoes, trust me. Group was small, felt personal. Would recommend for anyone with curious kids.May 20264/5Went solo, joined a mixed group (shoutout to chatty Canadian couple). The museum is air conditioned (thank goodness, was HOT outside). Guide was lovely, but I sometimes wished for a bit more time at the petroglyphs. Volcanoes are definitely the highlight, just wish the ride out wasn’t so bumpy – maybe bring a pillow, lol. Still, learned a lot and got some wild pics!May 20265/5Epic half-day adventure! The old Lada taxi out to the volcanoes is a wild ride—felt like a rally driver. The guide (Elvin?) was super friendly, answered every question, even the silly ones. Museum is nice, bit small, but those ancient carvings blew my mind. Didn’t feel rushed at all. Bring water, it’s dry out there.May 20265/5We took this tour as a couple and LOVED it! The mud volcanoes are a once-in-a-lifetime thing (and my boyfriend fell in, lol). The guide was super knowledgeable, had so many facts about the carvings. Weather was perfect. I wish we could’ve stayed longer at the volcanoes, but still, super fun day.
