Jun 20265/5Took my mom for this day tour and honestly, we had a BLAST! Our guide (Musa? I think?) was suuuper chatty and seemed to know every weird fact about Gobustan. My mom was obsessed with the petroglyphs, I just loved the mud volcanoes—never seen anything like it. Slight heads-up, our mini bus was kinda squishy but at least the AC worked. Lunch spot was meh but eh, you go for the views, not the food. They let us take tons of pics (except in the mosque, obvs). Would totally do it again, maybe in cooler weather!Jun 20265/5We did the tour as a family with 2 kids (ages 11 and 8). Both were SOOO into the bubbling mud volcanoes, honestly they didn’t want to leave. Our guide, Elnur, was patient with all the questions and made history fun. The bus was a little old but clean. Only thing – the lunch break was late for the kids, so bring some extra food if ur traveling with little ones. Otherwise, totally recommend.Jun 20264/5So I went solo and joined the tour group. Group was a bit big for my taste (like 15 ppl) but the guide was super patient with everyone. Petroglyphs at Gobustan were MIND-BLOWING, like you could almost touch history?? Mud volcanoes are a bumpy ride so if you get motion sick, beware! Also, bring snacks, the food is not that great. Still, worth it if you want to see a lot in a day.May 20265/5Honestly wasn’t sure what to expect but this was such a FUN day. Went with my boyfriend, and we both loved the Lada ride to the mud volcanoes – SO wild haha. Our guide (can’t remember his name, sorry!!) told us cool stuff about Azerbaijan I’d never heard before. Got some cooool photos (not allowed inside the mosque tho). Bring sunscreen, it gets hot!May 20265/5One of the best tours I've had in a while! Our guide, Emin, was so patient and funny. We were a mixed group (families, a couple, some solo travelers) and everyone got along. The highlight was definitely the Lada ride – it's bumpy but EPIC! Good tips from Emin about taking photos and avoiding the crowds. Would recommend to anyone visiting Baku.
Explore Gobustan National Park, the mud volcanoes, Ateshgah Fire Temple, and Yanardağ on a guided full-day tour, with an EZRaider ride and visits to Baku’s historic outskirts included.
