  • Important information

    You must carry original hardcopies of:

    • Valid driving license from your country

    • International Driving Permit (IDP) under the 1949 Geneva Convention

    • Passport

    Important notes:

    • IDPs must be issued in your home country by an approved authority

    • Vienna Convention 1968 IDPs are not accepted

    • Digital or paper copies are not accepted

    • You cannot obtain a valid IDP in Japan

    • Failure to present documents = no participation, no refund

    Country-specific rules:

    • Switzerland, Germany, France, Belgium, Monaco, Taiwan, Estonia: require license + official Japanese translation (JAF) + passport

    • US military: SOFA license or military ID + state license

    • Some nationalities are not eligible under Japanese law

    • Original driver’s license from your home country

    • Original International Driving Permit (IDP) issued under the 1949 Geneva Convention (where applicable)

    • Official Japanese translation of license for eligible countries (e.g., Switzerland, Germany, France, Taiwan, Belgium, Monaco)

    • Arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled start time

    What’s not allowed

    • Driving without required original documents

    • Passengers or ride-along companions (single-seater karts only)

    • Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs

    • Late arrivals or no-shows (may forfeit the experience)

    • Single-seater karts only; each participant must operate their own kart

    • This experience runs on public roads and requires valid driving credentials

    • Experience operates on public roads; traffic conditions may affect timing
