Your pass activates when it is first scanned at an included attraction or when a provider requires it to be validated at reservation time. The Explorer Pass stays valid for 30 days from first use, while the All-Inclusive Pass works on a consecutive calendar day basis and is valid for the time selected.

Often, yes. Many high-demand inclusions are marked “booking required,” and some explicitly refuse walk-ins. Reservations can be made in the Go City app.

No. The pass can sometimes bypass on-site ticket-purchase lines or use a timed-entry lane, but security checks, provider check-in, capacity limits, and general timed-entry queuing still apply. Queue mechanics and any “priority” access are attraction-specific.

Transport is generally separate from the Go City Barcelona Pass. Some included experiences may involve transport within a specific tour, but public metro, buses, taxis, and airport links are not pass-wide inclusions and should be budgeted for independently.

You can, but the value of the pass depends on pre-booking and realistic routing. Treat the All-Inclusive Pass as a calendar-day sprint. Missing reserved tours, underestimating travel time, or assuming 48-hour-style rolling validity can quickly erode any savings from the bundle.

If a provider cancels, you may need to rebook subject to availability, and alternatives are not guaranteed. If you miss your slot or fail to cancel on time, some partners may charge a fee or mark the inclusion as used on your pass.

Each pass is intended for one person and is scanned against that individual’s admissions. You can usually store passes for several travelers on one device, but you cannot share a single pass between people or reuse admissions across different users.

Common problems include assuming pass purchase equals confirmed entry, leaving “booking required” inclusions until the last minute, stacking far-apart attractions on a single day's itinerary, and misunderstanding day-based validity, especially for short, All-Inclusive itineraries.

Go City’s policy allows refunds on non-activated Barcelona passes within a 90-day window from purchase. Once a pass is activated or used for reservations that count as activation, standard refunds no longer apply.
