Originally a nature reserve, Gardens by the Bay was part of a government scheme to transform the city into a city in a garden. Discover what plant life is like in the tropical highlands, the Savannahs, and more at the Flower Dome Conservatory. From 21 Aug to 27 Sep 2026, the Flower Dome also hosts the Lilytopia Floral Display, themed around ancient Egypt with lilies, water lilies, and Nile lilies set among Egyptian-inspired architecture, hieroglyphic art, and sculptures. Catch sight of prickly desert plants at the Succulent Garden, and walk through a field of colorful flowers at the South African Garden. Exotic trees like the Puya and the Monkey Puzzle Tree from Chile are displayed at the South American Gardens, while figs, grapes, and pomegranates are abundant at the Olive Grove.

Supertree Observatory is set high up in the canopy of the tallest Supertree, offering unmatched views of Gardens by the Bay, Marina Bay, and the surrounding landscape. View the Marina Bay skyline and the 162,900 tropical plants that cover the tree-like structures of the glorious Supertree Grove. At the indoor viewing space, immerse in a digital experience based on climate change and head outside to admire the bright blue sky in contrast against the myriad colors beneath.
