The website was great and everything was described clearly. We picked up our tickets nearby. We booked the Harem tour as well (definitely the right decision) and were able to walk through the palace on our own with the audio guide.

The Topkapi visit is great, mainly thanks to what the place has to offer from history. 2 things to mention, First the tickets are to be picked up not at the palace itself but in a restaurant nearby. Second the guide is mainly bringing you to the location, he does not explain any of the history you would rely on the audio guide through your phone.

All right. It wasn't worth it for Topkapi—there was no one there at 12:30 p.m., and we ended up waiting in line longer with the group than if we'd bought tickets on site. Note that the ticket doesn't include entry to the harem; you have to pay about fifteen euros per person on site, and I think that's the part that's really worth the cost. For the Basilica Cistern, it’s definitely worth buying tickets in advance, but not for Hagia Sophia. I think these tours have become so expensive that they’re disappointing (except for the Harem, which isn’t included).

After buying tickets from you for Hagia Sophia and the Basilica Cistern, I assumed the procedure for Topkapi would be the same. So, after arriving at the palace entrance, we had to go to the meeting point, which is far away and involves a steep climb. The audio guide was a hassle; in theory, we were supposed to pick it up for free at the entrance, but our group was so large that it was impossible... I think that’s poor service! The palace is spectacular, but the ticket system didn’t work properly.

When they picked us up, they rushed us along without giving us time to pick up the Spanish audio guides that were available at the entrance (not all of us had internet access), and it was very disappointing. When I saw that we could have easily picked them up there without any trouble, I got even more upset. I won't be using your service again.

The ticket is valid for the entire day within the venue’s operating hours (Monday–Sunday: 8:30am–10pm; Saturday until 11pm).

Elevator access is available to the top of the tower.

Topkapi Palace

Note that you will be able to enter the Topkapi Palace only with a representative. Meet your host at the meeting point, who will then take you inside the palace.

Be sure to arrive at the meeting point 15 mins before your scheduled entry time.

The audio guide app is available in English, French, German, Italian, and Spanish. You'll find instructions on how to use the audio guide app in your ticket voucher.

Please note that there is limited internet at the museum, so download the audio guide app before your visit. The app does not require internet once it has been downloaded (ensure your GPS is activated).
