FC Barcelona is one of the most popular sporting clubs in the world and has been ranked as the fourth-most valuable sports team in the world. With a star-studded lineup that includes 6-time Ballon d’Or winner Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez, Ousmane Dembele and Gerard Pique, Barcelona are the favourites to take home the La Liga Championship this year. RCD Mallorca is fresh off its promotion from the second division of Spanish Football to La Liga. Having played their 1000th game in the La Liga just over a month back, Mallorca is all set to prove that they are a force to be reckoned with!
Camp Nou is the home stadium FC Barcelona ever since it was built in 1957. The renowned stadium has a staggering capacity of 99,354 and has hosted matches at the Football World Cup and the Olympics, in addition to two Champions League finals. One of the stands display the team’s motto, Mes que un club which translates to “More than a club,” a feeling that can be seen echoing throughout the stadium on match day.
