I booked this food tour for our first night in Rome and honestly it was the PERFECT way to start our trip. Our guide (I think his name was Luca?) was super friendly and had so many little stories about the neighborhood. We tried soooo many diff things (that pistachio cannoli, wow) and learned a bit about why Roman pizza is so thin. My teen son actually stopped looking at his phone for once. It was pretty hot but we got lots of water and a little gelato break at the end. Would do again!

Went on this tour with my boyfriend after a long flight, and it was a good intro to Rome. The guide was chatty and easy to understand even with a big group. Some of the places were a lil crowded, but I guess that's Rome in July. Liked the suppli the best! Only downside, felt a bit rushed at one stop. Overall, def worth it if you want to try stuff you wouldn’t order yourself.

Booked for our anniversary and it was exactly what we hoped for. The group was pretty small so it felt personal. Our guide told us about how her grandma used to make some of the dishes at home. The sunset walk through Trastevere was GORGEOUS. Bring a light jacket if you go in the evening, it got breezy.

We joined as a group of 6 for a bachelorette trip. It was fun and the wine tasting was a highlight. It did rain a bit but the guide just popped us into a cozy deli for shelter and more cheese. Some streets were a bit busy but you get that in Rome. Would recommend to anyone who likes carbs.

Such a BLAST. We were with our two kids (8 and 10) and even they LOVED the weird fried artichoke thing. The guide was patient, especially when my youngest kept asking questions. Learned way more about pasta shapes than I thought possible. Bring comfy shoes, you walk a lot!

    Getting started

    What to expect

Start with an authentic espresso or cappuccino at one of Rome’s oldest cafés, then follow your expert guide through colorful Campo de’ Fiori or down lamp-lit streets at twilight. Stop at a gourmet salumeria for cured meats and artisan cheeses, paired with a thoughtful selection of local pours.

Take a seat at a beloved Roman trattoria for two classic pastas, and wrap it all up with a crisp cannoli and a scoop of creamy gelato. Of course, the highlight is the secret surprise dish you’ll only discover on the tour. Along the way, you'll pass historic monuments, tucked-away alleyways, and charming hidden spots that most travelers miss.
