Went on this tour with my boyfriend after a long flight, and it was a good intro to Rome. The guide was chatty and easy to understand even with a big group. Some of the places were a lil crowded, but I guess that's Rome in July. Liked the suppli the best! Only downside, felt a bit rushed at one stop. Overall, def worth it if you want to try stuff you wouldn’t order yourself.Helene

I booked this food tour for our first night in Rome and honestly it was the PERFECT way to start our trip. Our guide (I think his name was Luca?) was super friendly and had so many little stories about the neighborhood. We tried soooo many diff things (that pistachio cannoli, wow) and learned a bit about why Roman pizza is so thin. My teen son actually stopped looking at his phone for once. It was pretty hot but we got lots of water and a little gelato break at the end. Would do again!Samir

Such a BLAST. We were with our two kids (8 and 10) and even they LOVED the weird fried artichoke thing. The guide was patient, especially when my youngest kept asking questions. Learned way more about pasta shapes than I thought possible. Bring comfy shoes, you walk a lot!Nina

Went solo and got a bit lost finding the meeting point. Once we started, it was nice but honestly a LOT of eating—I almost tapped out at the cheese shop. Guide was sweet tho, and helped me find a bus after. Might have enjoyed more if I’d come with a friend.Miguel

LOVED IT. My fav part was at the little bakery, omg the focaccia was SO FLUFFY. Our guide Massi knew all the shop owners by name and we felt like locals just for a night. Maybe I’ll try to make carbonara at home now (but probs fail, ha).

What to expect

Sample hot pizza by the slice, crispy supplí (fried risotto balls), and sharp Pecorino Romano from a historic market. Stop at a gourmet salumeria for cured meats and artisan cheeses, paired with a thoughtful selection of local pours.
Take a seat at a beloved Roman trattoria for two classic pastas, and wrap it all up with a crisp cannoli and a scoop of creamy gelato. Of course, the highlight is the secret surprise dish you’ll only discover on the tour.
