Barcelona's Palau de la Música is a jewel of architecture and decoration. A must-see... And if, like us, you can attend a show, it's even better. We saw a high-quality Flamenco performance, the dancers (2 women and one man) were powerful and some of their costumes (several changes) dazzling. Bravo also to the musicians and singers. A beautiful evening that will remain one of the best memories of our vacation. L & V

Definitely the theater which is very nice. I thought the performance was acceptable but I am not a flamenco expert. The dancers were good but not always on time, the dancer never returned the audience's applause with the classic bow. Some seemed good performers to me, others a little less so, and probably the preparation was quick. For a quick immersion in the world of flamenco, I would say it went well.

⸻ I loved everything, even though the places we booked were located in an area where you don’t get to see much of Palau’s natural beauty — they had ceilings above, blocking the view. When booking through the official website, you probably get more detailed information, but on Hideout, I didn’t notice that mentioned anywhere.

Spectacular dancing and music in a spectacular venue. All the performers are truly talented. It was also wonderful how the lighting changed during the show to highlight the mosaics and glass in the theater. Highly recommend this event in Barcelona.

Very nice place with good acoustics. We were comfortably seated. The artists were up to the task; the only downside was that we would have liked more dancers. There were 3. 2 more people and it was a 5*.

History of Gran Gala Flamenco

Running for 18 years without interruption, with support from the public and critics, the Gran Gala Flamenco is hosted in the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Palau de la Música, and the Poliorama. This show is the production of Barcelona y Flamenco, the most important producer of several flamenco shows in Barcelona, like Opera y Flamenco and Guitar y Flamenco. The theatre has a capacity of around 2,600 seats with thousands of visitors every year. The artistic direction comes from the hands of the famous guitarist Juan Gómex Chicuelo, who accompanied artists like Enrique Morente.
