It was enjoyable. We opted for the upstream and downstream tours. There was a half hour break between the two and the boat returns to the pickup point between them for the half hour and we needed to disembark for the duration of the break. There is a toilet on board and the seats are relatively comfy. Unfortunately the rain came down during the downstream tour so we couldn't get any good photos as the windows were covered in droplets but, that's Melbournes weather. All in all it was an enjoyable ride and we got to see Melbourne from a different perspective.

Impressive view from the 88th floor of the Eureka, you can see the whole city. A visit not to be missed by anyone passing through Melbourne. You can also buy souvenirs of your visit. I bought our tickets through Headout which allowed us immediate entry, you just have to show the QR at the entrance.

Informative journey upstream, but disappointing that we couldn't go downstream because of tidal issues . However, half the costs were refunded with very little hassle.

    • Get to the highest observation deck in the southern hemisphere. Do it in style, by riding the fastest elevator in the southern hemisphere.

    • Enjoy stunning 360°views of Melbourne spotting iconic landmarks. Spot them again as you sail the Yarra River for 1 or 2 hours (you choose).

    • Say hello to Herring Island, Federation Square, Royal Botanic Gardens, etc. Opt to greet major ports and docklands as well by upgrading your tour.

    • Fun fact: Ancient Chinese rever 88 as an auspicious number. The Skydeck sits on the 88th floor, wishing happiness and luck to everyone visiting!

    We booked the 2hr river cruise but we the boat only went one way due to the high tide. We therefore only got a 1 hr cruise.

    The experience on Yarra river was good. The chairs were a bit uncomfortable and we had a two hour tour ticket but after an hour there was hardly any instructions what to do next.

    Enjoy uninterrupted views of the MCG, Federation Square, Dandenong Ranges, and other beautiful landmarks. Use the viewfinders to make sure you miss none of it. Feeling adventurous? Head to the Edge to see what it's like to be projecting out of a skyscraper, check out the Voyager Theatre, or wobble above the city on a VR plank experience.

    You'll see why rivers have songs written about them, as you sail the Yarra River on a comfortable ship. If you select the 1-hour cruise, you'll enjoy stunning views of the Federation Square, Government House, Royal Botanic Gardens, world-famous sporting arenas including the Melbourne Cricket Ground, and more.
