Soldier John’s enthusiasm made the tour a success. It really drew you into Edinburgh’s ghost stories. Because you were so engrossed, you momentarily forgot it was a ghost tour, and the jump scares sometimes came completely out of the blue. All in all, definitely worth checking out if you’re visiting Edinburgh.

The adventure continues underground to a former 17th-century close encapsulated within the South Bridge.
