Would highly recommend a guided tour of the cathedral, Alexandra was great! and the terrace access was w nice bonus - got a better view, I assume similar to what the bell tower would provide - but also was a nice little break before the other half of the climb. Please note some areas of the dome climb are uneven and narrow so not suitable for mobility issues.

i booked an english speaking tour but you guys put me with a spanish speaking tour ... Luckily the tour guide and host company was great and was able to accommodate both English and Spanish descriptions of everything.

What to bring

Everyone is required to carry a copy of the identification page of their passports.
It is suggested to wear comfortable shoes with socks.

What's not allowed

Please note that the following must be left at the baggage deposit before entry: Suitcases, backpacks, packages, containers, large & medium-sized bags, umbrellas, sticks (when not used to aid walking), camera tripods, knives, scissors, any metal tools that could be a danger to people and exhibited works.
Baggage retrieval must take place at the end of the visit according to the scheduled time. The duration of the deposit cannot exceed the closing time of the cloakroom.
The following are not accepted at the baggage deposit: Money, jewelry, precious metals, documents, valuable objects, individual items of clothing, baggage weighing more than 25kg, baggage containing flammable, perishable, foul-smelling, or potentially dangerous materials.
Strict Dress Code: Please ensure knees & shoulders are covered.
Children aged 6 years and under are not allowed for the early entry English-guided tour.

Please note: You will have to climb stairs to reach the dome and secret terraces.
The tour is not suitable for wheelchair users and individuals with impaired mobility.
