It was good to have the logistics sorted out. Dani was a friendly guide, but I would've liked a litle bit more information about the villages. When we arrived there she told us that only guides from the village are allowed to give details. This would've been nice to know beforehand for full disclosure (luckily I had my guidebook with me to read a bit). It woudl also have been good to have it mentioned that it would be the low season so many places closed, boat tour not possible. I wasn't after hiking but I don't think the time allocated for each village would've let people hike much. There was only an hour in the first two villages and about 2.5 in Monterosso. It was still enjoyable but just not a great tour.

Jessica was a good guest. liked it's manner and openess to talk. I wish I had more time in last town wey visited. Drive in and out Cinque terre was without incidents. Overall a thumbs up experience

Venture out into the colorful city of Florence to discover its many manmade and natural jewels! Sit back as you enjoy a 2 hr 15 min ride on an AC coach - listen to facts and stories about the places you'll see by your tour guide as you cross two regions, Tuscany and Liguria. You'll be escorted to a train station and board a local train. Journey along the coastline, breathing in the sea air and drinking in breathtaking views of the sea.

Monterosso

Board the train and journey down the Ligurian coast to Monterosso, Cinque Terre's largest town. Stroll, shop, eat, drink, sit, or swim - do what your heart pleases in this stunning coastal village!

Manarola & Pisa

Before you know it, it's "all aboard" again, and you're on your way to Manarola, a charming town characterized by its sea-facing streets and squares. Feel like you've stepped into a Renaissance painting as you take to the streets and soak up your surroundings. At this point, if you feel like you've seen it all, prepare to be amazed. Explore this town on your own, experiencing the local culture and hospitality firsthand as you do so.

Your day will continue with a journey to the famous city of Pisa, home to the iconic Leaning Tower and other architectural wonders. The construction of the tower, initiated in 1172, faced challenges with unstable ground, resulting in its distinctive tilt. Explore Pisa's historical treasures and enjoy a final taste of Ligurian flavors, including the renowned pesto.

Make sure you buy yourself some local culinary treats, such as the highly-prized pesto of the Liguria region! Soon you'll be back on board the train, back to your private coach to Florence.
