Sintra
Weave fairytales and mix them with reality on this guided tour to the lush enchanted forests of Sintra. Along the way, spot the sites identified by the UNESCO World Heritage list in Sintra. Find out their significance and if it is not apparent visually, then from your guide about the reason behind why these are unique.
Quinta da Regaleira
Quinta da Regaleira is a place out of fairy tales. The magnificent neo-gothic architecture is just a part of the overall experience. This UNESCO Heritage site has 13 hectares of gardens and forests rich with a variety of flora and fauna. There are hidden passageways, mysterious staircases, and an aura of mythical creatures inhabiting the land. Everything is one step away from Mr. Rabbit being chased by Alice. Expect personal attention from the guide as this is a small group tour.
Pena Palace
A romanticist castle, Pena Palace lies on the top of a hill in the Sintra Mountains. The site of this palace is exquisite and justifies its position as one of the seven wonders of Portugal. It is a colorful palace, has a clock tower, Moorish arches, cylindrical bastion, and interiors decorated in cathédrale style.
