We were waiting 20 minutes before as requested but were not given our tickets until after 9:30. It was a bit confusing as to who the guide was. Once we got the ticket we waited in line to go through security screening. The audio guide was great and easy to listen to. The stairs up kept giving us WOW moments with the intricate ornate decorations. The information about the parliament and the rulers was great. We really enjoyed the tour.

It was a little tricky to figure out where to pick up the tickets. We had to wait outside under the security camera at the entrance at the specified time for an employee to give us the tickets. The audio guides are very convenient, and the commentary is interesting. A wonderful visit!

Headout made it simple and easy to purchase Hungarian Parliment tickets. The Headout representatives, LIAH & AKOS, were very easy to identify and were very helpful and clear in the information they provided. Headout did an excellent job of communicating all of the information that we needed in order to have a successful and enjoyable tour of the Hungarian Parliment. I would have given Headout 5 stars, except that they are a third party reseller, and mark up ticket prices considerably from what you would pay buying directly . We tried to buy our tickets directly a month prior to our planned trip, but they were sold out due to third party vendors buying blocks of tickets.

Our evening cruise was an impeccable experience from start to finish. Boarding was quick and well organized, the staff were courteous and attentive, and the atmosphere was relaxed throughout. Seeing Budapest at night from the Danube offers a truly extraordinary perspective: the illuminated Parliament, Buda Castle and the historic bridges are even more impressive when viewed from the water. The boat was clean, stable, and equipped with both indoor and outdoor areas that allow you to enjoy the panorama without obstruction. The timing of the route was excellent as well: the cruise covers all the main landmarks and gives you plenty of opportunities to take perfect photos at the most iconic spots.

We visited the hungarian parlement with headout. The only function of headout is to provide you the tickets because at the parlement itself they are mostly sold out months in advance. The guides from headout (and also all guides from other organisations) are not allowed to come in the parlement. Every half our the parlement itself guides a group of exactly 50 people through the building. This works very well. So the only use of headout is to sell you tickets for three times the normal price, no more, no less.

The sunset cruise on the Danube was beautiful, but I would have preferred an open-air boat to get a better view for taking photos, even though I realize that in case of rain, or during the middle of the day, a covered boat can be very useful...As for the spa, it’s a gorgeous facility—I spent a truly relaxing day there. I didn’t try all the indoor pools; for this visit, the outdoor ones were enough for me.

Night Cruise on the Danube in Budapest Overall, we enjoyed the night cruise on the Danube at 8:30 PM. The views of Budapest from the river were beautiful and the atmosphere was great. However, there were a few things that could be improved. There were no seats on the upper deck, which was not very comfortable. Also, the glass windows on the first level made it harder to fully enjoy the views, especially in summer. Another disappointment was that the Parliament building was not fully illuminated, so it didn’t look as impressive as expected. Overall, it was a nice experience, but there is definitely room for improvement.

This was a last minute adventure. Wasn't really thinking thermal baths with 90 degree weather. So glad I did. Thermal baths were relaxing, fun and extremely therapeutic. I had walked a lot since arriving-the bath, sauna and pool helped. The river cruise was a great history lesson of Budapest. Very laidback-drinks provided. Great views of the historic city.

From the magnificent hallways to the marble columns, the Hungarian Parliament in Budapest is truly one of the most beautiful buildings I know, even on the inside. The entrance hall is particularly impressive, with its enormous ceiling murals and magnificent design! Definitely worth a visit!
