Great organization, breathtaking building, but unfortunately not quite enough time to enjoy it What made my visit with Headout special was definitely how smooth and stress-free everything went. After an already packed sightseeing itinerary in Budapest, it was incredibly relaxing that everything was perfectly organized in advance. We were able to skip the long lines, the audio guides were ready to use right away, and they worked flawlessly. A great service! The Parliament building itself is an absolute architectural masterpiece and a real highlight of our trip. The audio guide really brought the huge hallways to life. It was fascinating to learn that nearly 40 kilograms of the purest gold leaf were used there, and to discover the story behind the charming little brass cigar holders in the hallways. However, I must point out one **criticism**: Unfortunately, the tour felt a bit too short overall and extremely tightly scheduled. At times, the attendants usher you along very quickly, so you can’t really go at your own pace. Especially in the imposing Dome Hall with St. Stephen’s Crown and in the historic Upper House chamber (with all its wood paneling), I really would have liked to have had a little more time. You barely have a chance to stop for a moment and take in the majestic atmosphere before you’re already being ushered into the next room. Conclusion: Thanks to the super-easy booking process through Headout, this is a highly recommended experience. However, you should be prepared for the fact that the pace inside the building is kept very fast.

I had the opportunity to visit the Hungarian Parliament building on July 1, 2026, through a tour organized by Headout. I am grateful to Headout for this arrangement. Everything went smoothly. I had to exchange the online ticket on my phone for a physical ticket at the ticketing counter. I was granted entry at the exact scheduled time. After going through security, I picked up headphones and listened to the tour guide's explanations while exploring and taking photos. The building is one of the most beautiful, majestic, splendid, and largest government buildings in the world. The grandeur of the entrance staircases, the gold-leaf decorations, paintings, and artistic sculptures adorning the halls, and the royal coronation regalia and emblems constantly guarded by two soldiers in the center—all are priceless treasures of the country. When I saw the two soldiers standing guard motionlessly for long shifts, I, as a spectator, felt proud. I think the soldiers themselves also would consider it a proud privilege. Photography is not allowed in this central hall. After that, I explored the Upper House chamber, and then in the basement, there were miniature models, photographs, and explanations showing how the Parliament building was constructed, how the rooms are arranged, and how it is maintained and preserved. On the basement floor, there is a gift and souvenir shop, and in the middle of the main hall, a video is continuously playing on a screen. If you come to Budapest, this is a must-see. The entrance fee for non-EU citizens is around $50, so it is a bit pricey. Nevertheless, it is worth it.

My visit to the Parliament Building in Budapest with Headout was a truly unforgettable experience and was organized to perfection. Once inside, the building’s grandeur literally takes your breath away. The most exciting and unforgettable moment was seeing the monumental Royal Staircase, but above all, entering the magnificent Dome Hall. Standing just a few meters from the legendary Crown of St. Stephen, guarded with impeccable solemnity and security, truly makes you feel as though history is right at your fingertips. The entire visit was smooth and enjoyable, with timing managed perfectly, allowing you to admire every gilded detail and every fresco at your own pace. It’s an experience I highly recommend to anyone visiting the city who’s looking for reliable service!

Entry went smoothly; the staff member we met with our ticket immediately gave us all the information we needed to start the tour. EVERYTHING WAS RIGHT ON SCHEDULE. The tour of Parliament was sooo nice. The interiors are fantastic, and the audio guide information is very detailed (the guide activates the audio during the tour, which makes the experience much more immersive). Perhaps the only minor issue is that the audio guide sometimes assumes you’re facing the right direction to look, but you gradually get your bearings. I have to say, this app was a pleasant surprise for taking the various tours in Budapest, and who knows—maybe I’ll use it for my next trips too.

Complimentary drink on arrival was appreciated. Food was delicious, beautifully presented AND just the right serving size given it was a 4 course meal. The musicians played from a wide range of genre but I particularly liked the old Hungarian ballads & csardas they played. Musicians were very skilled with their instruments as the range of musical difficulty of some songs was obvious. WELL DONE. Folk dancers were also amazing and livened up the evening including enticing the audience to participate. Overall a fabulous evening and a little rain down the windows added to the enchanting, lit buildings along the Danube/Duna.

The Budapest Danube River Nighttime Sightseeing Cruise was absolutely unforgettable. Seeing Budapest illuminated at night from the Danube was breathtaking. The views of the Hungarian Parliament Building, Buda Castle, Chain Bridge, and the city’s skyline were simply spectacular. The cruise was comfortable, well-organized, and offered a peaceful way to enjoy the beauty of Budapest after sunset. I highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting the city—it’s one of the best ways to see Budapest at its most magical
