What we liked best, without a doubt, was the visit to Zaanse Schans—the views and windmills were spectacular. The other little villages are pretty and charming, and well worth a visit. As for our guide, Fanny—she’s a great speaker, attentive to everyone, and makes the tour very dynamic and fun while also being culturally enriching—a 10 out of 10. In our opinion, the pace of the tour was a bit too fast overall to see so many little things… perhaps the itinerary should be adjusted or the total duration of the tour extended a bit. Even so, it’s a tour we recommend.

It was the highlight of my Amsterdam trip. I highly recommend our tour guide Bea and our bus driver Colossus (Not sure about the spelling) they were great. The tour was well organized although as expected if you are in a group guided tour the amount of time is limited compared to doing it yourself. But it was a great guided tour and very worth the price if you are on a budget travel. I will definitely recommend it to my family and friends if they will travel to Amsterdam. This tour is great, and well organised. There was a 30 min change in time, and I was contacted a few days prior to inform me about that. Holly was a great guide. Friendly and answered all questions we had. I do think that 2 hours lunch break is a bit too long, an hr and half would be enough, on a busy restaurants day. And the last stop, I think, wasn't necessary as it's basically a port, but it's just my own preference. Other people seem to be ok with both of these. The price was good and slightly cheaper than some other platforms. Btw, you can buy cheese during the tour, as the prices aren't higher than in shops, might actually be a bit cheaper. Same goes for some souvenirs, like wooden tulips were cheaper than in other tourist shops I passed by.

A really great way to see some charming locations not too far from Amsterdam, and a great way to do that without having to figure out how to navigate public transportation by oneself. We appreciated having a guide who was really knowledgeable about the history of the Netherlands and could explain how that affected the locations we went to. My one frustration was how much walking was required of us. There was no indication of how much walking was involved when I registered. It was a little much for my elderly parents.
