Gasps arise from crowds as the lines of arches and colourful brickwork stretch your vision. Suddenly in the centre a magnificent cross of the Catholic Church resplendent in gold statutory and carvings. It made me question religious conflict. The large grey horse with long silver mane and tail looked like he should have been ridden by the wizard Gandalf from Lord of the rings! A beautiful animal as they all were. I just wish they’d allow us to take photos and videos. It would be great to show it to my kids, who love horses and horseback riding just as much as I do.
