Visiting the Colosseum, the Roman Forum, and Palatine Hill was simply an extraordinary experience—one of those moments that stay with you forever. The entry process was well-organized, and despite the crowds, everything went quite smoothly. The Colosseum is even more impressive in person: walking through its arches truly lets you imagine the grandeur of ancient Rome and the life that once animated this iconic site. The tour inside allows you to appreciate its structure and history in an immersive way. The Roman Forum is a true journey through time. Strolling among the ruins, surrounded by temples, columns, and ancient streets, is thrilling and evocative. Every corner tells a story, and you can clearly sense the historical significance of this place. Finally, the Palatine Hill was perhaps the most surprising highlight: less crowded and offering a spectacular view of the Forum and the city. It’s the ideal place to end the visit at a leisurely pace, enjoying a unique panorama and a more relaxed atmosphere. I highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Rome: it’s a complete immersion in history, perfect both for enthusiasts and for those who simply want to be captivated by the city’s timeless beauty.

A wonderful experience visiting the Colosseum! Everything was perfectly organized: we were able to pick up our tickets in advance at the agency, and the audio guide was easy to set up on our cell phones and very user-friendly. The service was excellent, with clear and detailed explanations about the tour itinerary. If you stick to the scheduled time, entry is quick, which is really appreciated given the crowds. There are indeed a lot of people inside, but that doesn’t detract from the magic of the place. It’s a must-see in Rome; the Colosseum is absolutely impressive and steeped in history. The ticket also grants access to the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill, which are very worthwhile visits and perfectly complement the experience of the site.

The Colosseum is one of the most iconic and breathtaking landmarks in the world. Its massive structure and ancient architecture immediately take you back to the time of the Roman Empire. Walking around and inside the Colosseum, you can truly feel the history and imagine the gladiator battles that once took place there. The preservation of this monument is impressive, and the atmosphere is unforgettable. It is a must-visit attraction in Rome, offering both historical significance and a powerful visual experience. I highly recommend visiting early in the morning or booking skip-the-line tickets to avoid long queues.

We received a warm, quick, and smooth welcome at the castle entrance. As we were about to go down the stairs to enter and begin the tour, a man in his thirties noticed our age and directed my sister and me toward the elevator. A kind gesture that was very much appreciated. At the top, on the terrace, we noticed a small crowd that was clearly waiting for a VIP to arrive. We later learned that it was our President Macron. Photo to prove it.

What made my visit to the Roman Colosseum with Headout so special was that I didn't have to wait in endless lines, and I had the chance to visit other places like the Trevi Fountain and the Vatican without rushing—since I didn't waste time waiting in line, I made the most of that time and even had plenty of time to shop for souvenirs at my own leisure. I got in super fast and, at my own pace, really enjoyed the visit.to the Roman Colosseum thanks to Headout!!+

They kept me informed throughout the days leading up to the tour, reminding me of the date and time of my reservation. On the day of our visit, it was easy to meet up with the Vivicos team, and using the app for the audio guide was very straightforward as well. Plus, we could listen to the audio recordings as many times as we wanted, just in case we needed to. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience—I highly recommend it.

The most memorable and impressive place for me in the Colosseum was the upper level, overlooking the entire arena. Standing there, I was amazed by the scale of the Colosseum. From above, you can really understand how massive it is and how it once held tens of thousands of people. The view of the arena from that height makes everything feel more real and easier to imagine.

Colosseum, Palatine Hill & Roman Forum

Hop off at stop #3 and head to the Colosseum, where gladiators once battled for glory in the grandest arena of ancient Rome. Your ticket also includes Palatine Hill, the legendary birthplace of Rome, and the Roman Forum, where temples, arches, and political ruins tell stories of a bygone empire – all offering a fascinating walk through history.

    Pantheon

The Pantheon, once a temple for all gods, now stands as a masterpiece of ancient engineering and Renaissance influence. Just a little off stop #5 on the Red route, you’ll find the Pantheon, standing tall with an enormous dome with an opening at its peak known as the oculus, that covers the marble work of this Roman temple-turned-Catholic church in natural light. Inside, find sunken panels, royal tombs, and Raphael’s resting place, all steeped in centuries of history.

    Castel Sant’Angelo

Take the Red route on the bus tour and hop off at stop #6 to visit Castel Sant’Angelo. Built as Emperor Hadrian’s tomb, the landmark later became a fortress, papal hideout, and now a museum. Wander its five floors, from eerie prison cells to opulent papal rooms, and explore its vast collection of ancient weaponry. End your visit on the rooftop terrace with breathtaking panoramic views of Rome.
