The Malpensa train from the airport to Milan city center is easy, convenient, and well worth it. The price is reasonable, signage in the airport makes the train very easy to find, and tickets are simple to purchase online. The train has plenty of space for luggage and seating is comfortable. Overall, a smooth and stress-free experience — I would absolutely use it again and highly recommend it.

It was very very easy to locate the right platform and the train was on time at the station and journey easy into the city. Onkybissi was with the prepaid ticket and code you do not have to validate it on the platform which was not clear on the papers.

Your pass shall be activated on the App. Every attraction can be visited for free once.

The pass is valid for 72 hours from the time of activation.

The Milan City Pass grants free access to trains, trams, and buses, specifically for Metros within Zone Mi1-Mi3.

One-Way Tickets

Streamline your journey with a swift 51-min transfer from Malpensa Airport to Milan Central Station, ensuring easy access to the city center. Sidestep traffic and parking expenses, and rest assured that, in the event of a Malpensa Express disruption, a bus connection is in place.

Located under Terminal 1, a short walk from the arrivals area on the ground floor, Malpensa Express offers departures every 30 mins, seven days a week. Upon ticket purchase, utilize it within 3 hours, starting from the indicated timetable on your chosen travel date. Milan Central Station, a major transportation hub, facilitates travel to destinations like Rome, Florence, Bologna, Venice, Naples, and Salerno, with departures every half-hour.

One-Way Tickets

To activate your ticket, the check-in must be done before the scheduled train departure time. You will receive a link in the confirmation email and via SMS. Check-in opens at 12am on the date of travel.

It is possible for you to make an unlimited number of date and departure changes until 11:59pm on the day before travel.

On the day of travel, if your check-in is not yet done, you will have the chance to make an unlimited number of departure time changes.

There are no restrictions on the quantity of luggage you may carry on the trip.

In the event of a strike, the connection to the airport is made by bus: from Via Paleocapa 1, at the corner of Milano Cadorna station, to Malpensa Terminal 1, without intermediate stops.

Please display the same at each ticket redemption point along with a valid photo ID. Students must show a valid student ID.
