Ou visit to the Shard turned into an unusual experience. We enjoyed the lovely views & Chris gave a very entertaining talk about the building. Then my husband suddenly felt ill & collapsed onto the floor, Chris & your helpful staff were wonderful, & other visitors came to our aid. Chris called for an ambulance, as my husband Mike blacked out again. I explained he is group 2 diabetic, but it was a worrying experience & Mike has never blacked out like it before. Chris came with us to the ambulance, we are so grateful for his help. The ambulance ladies were so kind & caring & took us to St Thomas's Hospital. & the doctors & all staff & nurses did many tests during the five hours we were there Mike received excellent care . Plus also very caring with me as it was a worrying experience, but after many tests Mike was allowed home, he had become dehydrated, & also discovered he has a little heart problem, but I am pleased to say it is not too serious & can be treated. Oh it has been an unexpected experience visiting the Shard, but we have kindly been given two complimentary tickets, for us to return again in the future. We wish to say A VERY BIG THANK YOU TO CHRIS & ALL YOUR SHARD STAFF FOR THEIR KIND CARING HELP. PLUS BIG THANK YOU TO THE AMBULANCE LADIES & ALL THE WONDERFUL CARING DOCTORS NURSES & STAFF AT ST THOMAS'S HOSPITAL. . Also to say Mike feels much better today . Our visit to The Shard with my family was a fantastic experience. The high-speed lift ride was exciting, and the views from the top were absolutely breathtaking, offering a stunning panorama of London’s landmarks. Due to venue restrictions, pets cannot tag along for this experience.

Large bags and backpacks, over the size of 22 x 15 x 8 inches (55 x 38 x 20cm), or other large equipment are not allowed

Up at The O2

Safety is a priority, so this experience is restricted for guests under the age of 8 years, under the height of 1.2m, and over the weight of 21 stone/130kg/286lbs.

The maximum measurements required are a waist measurement of 125cm and a maximum upper thigh measurement of 75cm.

Note: Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult in the ratios: ages 8 to 17 – 1 adult to 5 minors.

Up at The O2 is not suitable for pregnant women.

Climbers must not be under the influence of alcohol or legal or illegal substances: You will not be permitted to participate and will not be refunded.

From November 21, 2025, to January 4, 2026, all climbs will include access to the festive Snow Globe Experience on the roof of The O2.
