Visiting Vatican City was an unforgettable experience. Even if you're not particularly religious, the history, art, and architecture are simply breathtaking. Was great ! Definitely was worth as avoided standing in long queues. One thing you should bare in mind that of you buy ticket with time access to Basilica and the Dome, you have 1.5 hrs till entering, so if you are a museum person it might not be enough for you. You don't need ID anymore, unlike Colosseum, but bring it just in case maybe. It's worth paying for St. Peter Basilica, because for online tickets there almost was no queue. For Dome, it's elevator access up to certain level. And then it's a quite hard and narrow staircase up, so small kids and people with breathing problems might want to think before climbing the Dome, but level where elevator takes you, is no problem and view of the Dome is nice, but can't see the square from it. Was worth the money spent, overall.

The museums are full of incredible artwork, beautiful halls, and fascinating history around every corner. The Sistine Chapel was the most unforgettable part of the visit. Looking up at Michelangelo's famous ceiling was an amazing experience. It was quite crowded, but everything was well organized. I definitely recommend buying your tickets in advance, especially the fast-track option, because it saves a lot of time and lets you skip the long entrance lines. It made the whole visit much more enjoyable. I would happily visit again.

The guide that took us through the checkpoint and informed us about the process was amazing and that service was worth the money..! We didn't expect the vastness of the museum and the variety of the dispalying artifacts. It was huge and crowded but not disturbingly..Certainly, there is no time to look at everything and sometimes you need to rush in order for the crowd to keep moving... Few places to rest and freshen up. Mesmerizing the pinacoteca and ofcourse the Sixtine Chapel. It would be nice to be formerly advised about the fact that you need ID for the children as well and that you might need to cover up legs and shoulders for the Chapel.

It saved us from having to wait over two hours at the museum in the blazing sun at 36 degrees; we didn’t have tickets in advance because it was a spontaneous trip to Rome. Instead, we spent a leisurely 30 minutes eating at the café across from the meeting point and waited there with cold drinks. Everything went smoothly—we went inside, received instructions, and were then escorted into the museum as a group by a lady. I’d book this again in a heartbeat. Highly recommended!

We found a guide very quickly; there were no issues getting into the Vatican—it was quick and easy (we just had to go through security, so there was a very short wait). The Vatican has 7/8 kilometers of museum space; plan to spend the whole day seeing everything, plus a visit to St. Peter’s Basilica once you’ve finished the museum.

We bought a skip the line ticket and everything went well. The guider was there in time, she was easily recognizable and then we got into the museum quickly. I've been already there 20 years ago and I was mesmerized, so I wanted to see again. It's a wonderful experience

One child between the age of 4-12 can travel free of cost with one paying adult.

With canine registration certificates and a proper safe carrier, you can bring your dogs, cats, or other pets free of cost.

Guard dogs are allowed on board free of cost.

There are no limitations on the number of luggage that you can bring along for the journey.

Leonardo Express trains are accessible to travelers with reduced mobility.

Vatican Museums & Sistine Chapel

Please note the chosen time must be respected and latecomers would not be accommodated.

Dress Code: Please be dressed appropriately. Sleeveless blouses, miniskirts, shorts, and hats are not permitted. Your head, knees, and shoulders MUST be covered for both men and women. Comfortable shoes are recommended. We recommend you carry a shawl or a scarf to cover your head.

People with wheelchair disabilities get free entry. The Vatican Museums offer free wheelchair hire from the cloakroom.

The Vatican Museums offer free tickets for visitors with mobility impairments (with certified disability exceeding 74%). Additionally, in the case of visitors lacking in self-sufficiency, free entry is extended to their companions.

Certification of disability must be shown before the issue of the entrance tickets either at the Reception or at the Special Permits Desk, located in the entrance hall of the Vatican Museums.

Restrictions

Late arrivals will not be accommodated.

The tour assistants will help you enter the Vatican Museums and services will end with the ticket delivery at the entrance (lobby) of the Museums.

It is not recommended to bring strollers to the Vatican Museums as there are multiple staircases across the museum.

Colosseum, Roman Forum & Palatine Hill

Your tickets are timed so you must enter the Colosseum at the time slot selected at the time of booking.

Guests have a flexible entrance to the Palatine and Forum at any time during their selected activity date. The tickets for the Palatine and Forum will remain valid for an additional 24 hours after the Colosseum entry time is selected during booking.

Child tickets are open-time and their entry depends on the Adult visiting with them.

Note that there are 2 entrances: one for the Colosseum, and another for the Roman Forum & Palatine Hill (combined). You may enter each entrance ONLY ONCE. Re-entry is not permitted with the same ticket.

Please note that entry to the Colosseum is free on the first Sunday of every month.

It is recommended to wear comfortable attire and walking does as there is a fair amount of walking involved.

The attractions remain closed on 25 Dec and 1 Jan.

No storage facility is available. You can, however, take a baby stroller into the Colosseum with you, should it be necessary.
