The code display on my phone didn't always work the same way under the scanner on the bus and tram, or rather, it caused the scanner to light up green to confirm. But whenever I had questions, the friendly drivers and tram attendants were always there to help. Public transportation in Amsterdam is really well organized.

The staff were very helpful and friendly, so we were able to easily take all the routes we wanted. For a weekend day, the buses and trams weren’t too crowded, and the frequency of service was great. We highly recommend that everyone get a day pass.

Honestly such a solid combo. The GVB pass made getting around the city on the trams so easy and saved a ton of hassle. The canal cruise was super chill too, it was really nice to just sit back and see the city from the water after walking around all day. Definately worth doing.

Please note: some of these digital tickets are not compatible with the Park & Ride system. We parked in a Park & Ride garage that was supposed to cost 6 euros per day. However, there are no payment machines that can scan the QR code on the digital ticket; you need a physical ticket. So we ended up paying 28 euros for parking

Finding the location was easy, the public transport was frequent and on time. Some entrances (e.g. M) were a bit tricky to find. Security Check was fast and easy, friendly staff in- and outside the venue.
