The ride on the vaporetto to Murano and Burano was nice and smooth. The person at the ticket machine was helpful and we were directed to the correct line to take. Unfortunately the line was very long as a lot of people were going there as well. The people on the vaporetto were pleasant and some gave up their seats for us seeing that we were older. We had a wonderful time.

We purchased the 3 day pass and what a great service. We just hopped on and off the vaperetto with ease and didn't have to think about the cost. We used the service a lot especially our free day to get to Murano, Burano and around the main part of Venice. Worth investing in if you do not want to fight the crowds and not worry about costs.

It was pleasant, we had plenty of time to sightsee and do some shopping, but the only thing that happened to me at the last stop: sitting on a bench waiting for the boat to arrive, I got up to drink from the fountain and forgot all my purchases on the bench. Great service. I bought day tickets online, and as soon as we arrived in Venice, we went straight to the ticket machine, which dispensed our tickets after we entered the code received by email. We only used them to get around by vaporetto, and it was super convenient! Lots of vaporettos and clear directions. The only issue we ran into was the vaporetto from Rialto to the station, because it filled up entirely with locals while tourists were left waiting there. So maybe add a few more vaporettos on Saturdays and Sundays.

I have never been on a water bus! I loved the new experience and it was a beautiful sightseeing trip. Everyone was very nice and accommodating. I like that it took you right to the airport no traffic, and dealing with a crowd of people. It was relaxing compared to riding the train and having to change trains lugging the luggage each time that was awful having to fight people and the doors shutting on you. The boat was relaxing and I did not dread having to fight my luggage again. Thank you Leslie

The office indicated on the station square in Venice was of little help. The clerk said they used to be able to issue the tickets, but this was no longer possible due to a recent change. Fortunately, I found some kind tourists who helped me at the machine. Still, it would have been easier to just buy the 7-day vaporetto pass directly at the ticket counter without purchasing it in advance.

One-way tickets are valid only for one single-way journey. You can either travel to the airport or from the airport.

Round-trip tickets must be kept securely and used within 30 days from the date of first validation.

In case of fog or bad weather, service may switch to a car transfer to Piazzale Roma.

Service staff is available at Desk 71 (Marco Polo Airport, first floor).

Vaporetto ACTV Water Bus & Mainland Bus Pass

Tickets must be validated before boarding ACTV public transport.

You can use your pass anytime within 24 months from the date of purchase.

Your validity period begins upon first use of the pass. Once validated, you can use your pass for the number of days selected during purchase.

Your voucher will be emailed to you shortly.

Please display the same at each ticket redemption point along with a valid photo ID.

Vaporetto ACTV Water Bus Pass & Mainland Bus Tickets

You will receive an ACTV Public Transport Services Voucher via email. Exchange this at the Venezia Unica ticket office at Piazzale Roma and redeem a paper ticket with your voucher.

You can also use the Venezia Unica self-service ticket machine present at the ticket office.
