An amazing experience visiting the Colosseum! The tour was comprehensive, well-paced, and packed with fascinating history. What truly made it exceptional was Donatella. Her deep knowledge, warmth, and charm brought the ancient world to life. She shared wonderful details and graphics, and patiently answered every question we had. Thanks to her, it was an unforgettable day. Highly recommended!

A truly interesting and well-organized tour. The visit to the Colosseum, which includes access to the arena floor, allows you to see the monument from a unique perspective. The Palatine Hill and the Roman Forum were also very impressive. The guide was knowledgeable, engaging, and able to explain everything clearly. Highly recommended!

Guide was excellent. But we did not have the full e perience at the colusseum. We paid extra to have full access anx because of the coloured sticker we had on. Was denied a mess to upper floors

We loved the tour and our guide but the confusion created by Carpe Diem before the tour we disliked. First we received information that our tour starting 9.30 was cancelled. We offered another different tour. We were offered a 15% payback. Which we still have not received. We accepted, our tour would start at 10.00. We again received an app from Carpe Diem that our tour would start at 10.30. Much to our surprise, on our way to the meeting point I received a call from from Carpe Diem. With the question , where are you? Your tour start at 10.00????

You will enter the iconic monument from the newly-opened Gladiator's Entrance, giving you a unique vantage point of the Colosseum. This allows you to slip past the long lines at the main entrances and enter from the back. Marvel at the impressive architecture as you walk past the Arena Floor, just like the gladiators who stepped out there for fights to the death. The partial reconstruction of the arena floor gives you a stunning view of the tiered ruins from where up to 80,000 spectators once cheered on for these gory fights.

An expert English-speaking guide will accompany you and regale you with stories about the Colosseum. Varying from exotic staged hunts and mock sea battles, the true stories about this impressive monument are what legends are made of.
