My partner Rachel, our 10 month old daughter and I had an absolutely amazing time exploring Rome, and booking the Colosseum, Vatican and Pantheon combo through Headout made the whole experience even better! Travelling with a baby can sometimes be challenging, especially when visiting some of the busiest attractions in the world, but Headout made everything feel straightforward and well organised. The booking process was incredibly easy, all the information we needed was clearly explained, and having our tickets arranged in advance took away so much unnecessary stress. Each attraction was absolutely breathtaking in its own way. Walking through the Colosseum, experiencing the incredible beauty of the Vatican and stepping inside the historic Pantheon were unforgettable moments that we will treasure as a family. What really impressed us was how convenient everything was. We could concentrate on enjoying our holiday, taking photographs and making memories with our daughter rather than worrying about organising tickets. Visiting the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel was an unforgettable experience. The entire visit was incredibly well organised, and the skip-the-line access made the experience much easier, especially with the large crowds. The museums are filled with breathtaking artwork, beautiful architecture, fascinating history and incredible details at every turn. The Sistine Chapel was definitely the highlight and seeing Michelangelo’s work in person was truly amazing. Our Headout booking process was simple and convenient, and the instructions provided were clear and easy to follow. We were able to enjoy the visit without worrying about tickets or long queues. Overall, this was one of the highlights of our Rome trip, and I would definitely recommend visiting the Vatican Museums and booking through Headout.

The tickets and audio guide access arrived a day in advance. Downloading them for everyone in our booking worked smoothly. Unfortunately, the written guide did not work. We arrived a good two hours early. We got through admission in fifteen minutes. We didn't have to show any IDs. If your clothing is too revealing, free shawls are handed out. Going into the cathedral early was no problem at all. We were also able to visit the dome earlier than scheduled. Good to know: dome access for reserved tickets is inside the cathedral itself on the right-hand side just before the exit (not by the restrooms as the signs indicate). There was no time limit for the dome. You can also head back into the cathedral afterward. A truly impressive experience!

We did indeed get in quickly and skipped the line. But this option is for those who are consciously willing to pay twice as much as the ticket costs on the official Vatican website. You should check what the official Vatican website is, because this one also showed up for me as vaticanmusei. If you plan your visit to the museums early enough—unfortunately I didn't and got stuck with this cost—you can pay a lot less. Second thing, if you're used to Italians, the guides running half an hour late shouldn't be an issue. Our entry was scheduled for 8:00 AM, and the official email said to arrive 15 minutes early, so we rushed and even managed to get there by 7:40 AM. The guides came out of the gate well after 8:15 AM.

Purchase and receipt of the tickets was very easy and of course the Colosseium was very, very impressive. Just one thing made it a little bit frustrating on the day and that was that we didn't really see any particular entrance to go to. That could have been us not paying attention, or it might be that it wasn't made clear on the information we had. As you can imagine, there are a huge number of people milling about and after waiting in one queue we were told to go to another which was a little bit annoying but did not detract from the visit overall. The audio guide worked well too and gave you some real insights into life within the Colosseum. Would definitely recommend and say it's a must do!

I liked skipping the line to get into the museum and the museums themselves are amazing. However, we did have to wait about 35 40 mins at the meet up spot ( we did get there about 25 min early). They say to be there 15 min before but it's hard to time it exactly. It was hot and crowded outside and they call you names alphabetically ( we are W). Then you follow a guide who moves pretty quickly with a large crowd following so we almost lost her. There's no regard as in a regular line as to who's been there first and waiting longer. I'm sure it was still a good bit shorter wait than without the skip the line tickets. It was helpful for getting through security because she told us exactly what to do. Once inside you are on your own. The first couple sculpture rooms are not crowded but once you get moving in the direction of the Sistine Chapel, it is very congested and there is no place to sit down or rest for those who need to. We were fine, but I saw some others who seemed to be struggling. Be prepared for a very long wait to actually get to the chapel. That's not a complaint, just a fact to be aware of. It was worth it, but it's helpful to be aware that the weight is very long once you're in. We were still glad we went and that we did the skip the line. It is amazing!

Hello, Rome was magnificent again, as always. This time, I visited the legendary 2,000-year-old must-see structure, the Colosseum, with my son. I was just as amazed as the first time I saw it. This time, I also added the Palatine Hill and the Roman Forum to the trip, alongside the Pantheon, which I hadn't seen before either. On my previous trip, I hadn't gone inside to avoid waiting in the ticket line; this time, we bought our tickets from Headout before going. We toured with great ease without waiting in any lines at all. By entering without waiting in line at all, we didn't waste any time and spent our time much more efficiently without getting tired. I definitely recommend it. Thank you very much.
