What you’re really getting is a smoother, more organized entry process and often a host to guide you in, which is helpful in a place that can feel chaotic. The dome climb is where this ticket pays off. Going up St. Peter’s Dome gives you one of the best views in Rome—panoramic, unobstructed, and worth the effort. You can take an elevator part of the way, but there are still hundreds of narrow, steep steps, so it’s not ideal if you’re claustrophobic or have mobility issues. Our visit to the Vatican Museums two days ago was truly one of the most unforgettable experiences of our lives. Every hall, every masterpiece, every ceiling felt like stepping into another world filled with history, beauty, and wonder. I have wanted to see The Colosseum for years, and it did not dissapoint. The scale of the place is astounding, and the engineering, size and the bulding itself is just breathtaking. It was well worth paying to "skip the queue" as it was very busy and I can't stand for long, and with this ticket we were through the airport style security in 5 minutes. Also inside The Colosseum itself there were lots of opportunities and places to sit down and rest. We had an audio guide so we could take our time and not have to move off if we didn't want to - no-one rushed us.
