Rome City Tours

The gallery was absolutely beautiful! The works of art, notably those in stone, were beyond description and picture. Standing before the sculptures, you 'felt' the presence of the subjects. What made the visit especially wonderful was our guide, Dimitri. He not only knew the works and their artists, but he was clearly passionate about the subject. This was my second visit to Galleria Villa Borghese, but hopefully not my last. One of the greatest attractions in Rome, in my opinion.

It was very easy to find the guide, who arrived right on time. Martina was an excellent guide—very knowledgeable and professional. The guided tour exceeded all expectations. I highly recommend the museum.

You can tell that the guide has a lot of experience and knowledge of the subject. He provided details that helped us better understand what we were seeing. Plus, he answered every question we asked without any problem.

We had a wonderful and very interesting tour with Hildegard through the Colosseum, Palatine Hill, and the Roman Forum. The group size was perfect. We learned a lot about the history, life in Rome back then, and how it compares to today. She also debunked quite a few myths. This tour comes highly recommended and was a highlight of our stay in the Eternal City.

The guide explained the different historical periods and the clues that make such an accurate description possible very clearly. And seeing what the Domus Aurea looked like virtually was amazing.

Luigi the driver and his friend -- Guillermo, were great at their jobs. They were not very chatty with us, which I liked. Guides always overdo it trying to entice you to join their conversation. I'm glad he told us the important things and pointed places out along the way. I recommend him for people who like to learn, and then Sit back and relax.😎
