The Salzburg card is incredible value for money. We used it to travel on buses all the time. We got a reduction on entrance to a concert. Also entry to Christmas Museum, Hohensalzburg fortress (including funicular railway up and down) and on the Untersbegbahn cable car. If you are visiting Salzburg you must get a Salzburg card - you can order it on lione and collect from the airport or the Tourist information office in Mazart Platz - they speak perfect English too!

We did almost everything! My husband and I stayed a month in Salzburg to celebrate our 45th anniversary. We bought a 3 day card (72 hours) and the beginning of our trip and a 3 day card at the end. It made the trip so easy get on the buses and going to each attraction. The people at the visitor center were so helpful so walk , ride the bus, and just love everything about Salzburg!

Headout wasn't worth it because you couldn't download it right after paying. The Salzburg Card is great, but it should also be available as a direct download, or it used to be cheaper to get it directly from the host. Headout charged an extra 50 cents. With the Salzburg Card, we were almost always able to visit all the interesting sights without having to pay anything extra.

Great idea -> 1 card, lots of experiences & possibilities! What we liked best was the flexibility of how we could use it, so that when it rained we visited the museums and Mozart’s birthplace and former residence, and when the weather was nice, we went to the Hellbrunn Water Games and the zoo. Don’t miss the relaxing boat tour through the city’s history!
