I spent a magical afternoon at the Central Park Zoo with my three nieces visiting from Texas—ages 10, 9, and 5—and it was a hit for all of us. From watching the sea lions put on a splashy show to spotting the red pandas lounging in the trees, every corner of the zoo sparked excitement and wonder. The Tisch Children’s Zoo was a favorite—especially the petting area where the girls got up close with goats and sheep. The zoo is small enough to explore without feeling rushed, but packed with enough variety to keep all three kids engaged. Clean facilities, friendly staff, and a perfect mix of education and fun. We ended the visit with a walk through the gift shop and some well-earned ice cream nearby. Highly recommend for families with young kids—easy to navigate, stroller-friendly, and filled with New York charm.Evelyn
