Did you know?

The Museu Picasso opened in 1963 and was the first museum dedicated to Picasso, established with the artist’s own support and donations.

The museum’s collection spans over 4,000 works, focusing especially on Picasso’s early years and his deep ties to Barcelona.

It occupies five adjoining medieval palaces, like Aguilar, Baró de Castellet, Meca, Mauri, and Finestres, on the historic Carrer Montcada.

Picasso personally donated over 900 works to the museum in 1970, dramatically expanding its holdings.

The museum houses one of the world’s most complete collections of Picasso’s ceramics, showcasing his playful side in clay and glaze.

★★★★★ Excellent service! I used the **Barcelona Aerobus** to travel from the airport to **Plaça Catalunya** and had a really positive experience. The buses are clean, modern, and punctual, with plenty of space for luggage. The connection is direct, fast, and very convenient after a flight. The staff are helpful and tickets are easy to purchase. Great value for money: I definitely recommend it to anyone arriving in Barcelona!

We picked up the card at Sagrada Familia. We always arranged admission to museums on the spot. All we had to do was show the card and they gave us a free/discounted ticket. We used the metro and bus, and always just validated our tickets. This card made our stay much more enjoyable and saved us money.

After an early morning freediving session at Vertical Freediving in the Fòrum, I headed to the fascinating Museu de Ciències Naturals de Barcelona. I had a super delicious vegetarian lunch in Poblenou, and later ascended the Torre Glòries to enjoy breathtaking views over Barcelona. All the public transport worked perfectly — so easy and convenient! Not to forget the beautiful new Parc de les Glòries. A gorgeous day in the most beautiful city, ending with a tasty Korean dinner near our hotel in El Putxet. 🚀

barcelona, what a magnificent city, definitely my favorite, good food, sun, very well served with the 5-day pass "holà Barcelona", on the other hand, it doesn't work on all zones, so you still have to pay 2.65€ per journey each time, which is a shame.
