The experience was excellent from start to finish. Buying tickets to the Colosseum through them was one of the best decisions we made on our trip to Rome. Bottom line: Worth it—especially in busy seasons—but manage expectations. You’re paying to skip the worst line, not all of them. If you want the best experience, go early, book a timed entry, and consider a guided tour for context.

We were super happy with Headout and the Skip the Line ticket that we bought. We forgot to get tickets to the Vatican early, and we were able to get them the day before through Headout, which was amazing! The directions to get to the meeting point were super easy to follow, and the guides knew exactly what they were doing. Plus, we really were able to skip the line. We got there around 9:30am and I couldn't believe how long the general public lines were. We only waited about 10-15 mins in line and were able to get into the museum. I really enjoyed working with the skip the line tickets as we bypassed hours of waiting outside in the heat. We gathered as a group to go in at our designated time, and our instructor let us know anything and everything that we should before entering. He was very helpful with any questions we had. Once we were in, we were roaming around the museum on our own. The museum sends your through in a chronological order which made sense and helped out. At the meeting point, the staff were helpful, clear, and friendly. A representative gave us our tickets and escorted us right to the entrance—this is an incredible ticket because it lets you skip the very long line outside. The guy took us right up to the turnstiles. A must-have ticket—highly recommended for everyone! The Vatican Museums are very large. I recommend the Egyptian Hall, the Map Room, the Raphael Rooms, and of course Michelangelo’s true masterpiece: The Last Judgment.

The star of the show was obviously the Sistine Chapel everyone has to visit it once in their life. The paintings and sculptures in the museum are truly stunning from up close. One small issue we found was the ancient statues were not necesseraly in chronological order, and we would suggest a qr code next to the description of items so that other languages could read it and not have to translate. The Vatican's beauty cannot be put into words. Easlily a full day program, would visit again!

We were met by our host right on time at the designated meeting spot. He took our group through the crowds to the front of the line and immediately escorted us in. Inside the Vatican museum it was not overly crowded and you could move around freely without a problem. We walked through at a comfortable pace and stopped to see everything we wanted to see.
