Casa Batlló is a remarkable example of how architecture can bring together multiple forms of knowledge—artistic, technical, and natural inspiration. The event was superbly organized! Before the trip, I was worried about the language options for the audio guide. That issue was settled—Russian was available. They hand out a gadget with the audio guide. At the time, I was so thrilled that Russian was available that I didn’t even mention Ukrainian, but today at the Vincens House, I got a surprise—Ukrainian is on the audio guide list. I won’t go into too much detail about the visit itself, but I’ll say this: you have to see it! Before the trip, I read a lot and looked at photos (which are great), but seeing it in person is truly impressive! I’ll share one detail. In the central hall, where the front windows go all the way to the floor, you can open them exactly halfway to turn them into a balcony. And guess what? It actually works! It’s an incredibly simple design, and even after more than 100 years, it still works! One more observation: the Silver ticket is worth the purchase—the 360-degree visualization is impressive!
