    Your adventure begins with a round-trip ferry ride from Brisbane to Moreton Island, where you'll be welcomed by resort staff and given a brief introduction to the day’s offerings. After check-in and completing a quick waiver form, it's time to gear up and start exploring.

    Resort access

    When you’re not hitting the water or exploring the island, enjoy full use of the Tangalooma Island Resort facilities. Take a dip in one of the two outdoor pools, freshen up in the on-site showers and restrooms, or grab a bite or drink at the Fire & Stone Restaurant, Beach Café, coffee lounge, or B&B’s Resort Bar. A convenience store is also available for snacks and essentials.

    Travel is smooth and convenient thanks to the included round-trip ferry transfers from Brisbane. Spend up to 8 hours on the island, with all activity equipment and national park fees covered, ensuring a stress-free and adventure-filled day.

  • What to bring

    • Bring along your swimsuit, towel, spare clothes, sunglasses, hat, and eco-friendly sunscreen for your adventure.
    • Pack your meds – better to be prepared, just in case they’re not available onsite.
    • Bring local currency or your preferred payment method for meals, souvenirs, and extra delights not covered by the ticket.
    • If you do have asthma, you are required to bring your Ventolin with you to be able to participate in the tour.

    What's not allowed

    • Safety is a priority, so this experience is restricted for children aged under 6 years.

    Accessibility

    • This experience is not accessible by wheelchair and pram/strollers.
    • Moreton Island is a remote wilderness location, approximately 75 minutes from the mainland. For this reason, it is strongly advised that heavily pregnant guests reconsider their visit.
    • Participation in some of the tours and activities is physically demanding and may pose a health or safety risk. For your safety, you must disclose if you are suffering from any injury, or pre-existing medical condition (such as, but not limited to, epilepsy, asthma, or cardiovascular conditions) which may interfere with your ability to safely participate in the activities.
    • People with pregnancies need to provide a medical certificate from a doctor approving their participation in the tour activities.

    • Children aged under 16 years must be accompanied by an adult at all times on the island.
    • A medical questionnaire must be completed and signed by all passengers. For children aged under 16 years, the questionnaire must be signed by a parent or a guardian.
