Moreton Island is just wild! I went solo and came back with a sunburn and like ten new friends. Snorkeling was the best part – I even saw a MASSIVE fish (don’t ask me what kind, but it was blue and yellow and looked grumpy). Kayaks were see-through which was kinda trippy at first but so cool. Oh and sand boarding? I ate sand, not gonna lie, but it’s all part of it right? Staff were chill, especially Darcy who cracked jokes the whole time. Bring extra water and snacks, the lunch was tasty but I’m always hungry.

Took my two teens on this trip and we all had a blast. The snorkeling felt a bit rushed but the water was SOOO clear, you could see all the way to the bottom. Staff explained everything and made us feel safe (my daughter was nervous in the kayak). Only minus: the bus ride in. Bumpy doesn’t even cover it, but hey, it’s an island adventure. Would do it again, just maybe with more snacks packed.

Loved it! The guides were super friendly (shoutout to Jacob for the wildlife facts). The glass-bottom kayak is the coolest thing, almost felt like floating above an aquarium. Snorkeling around the wrecks was a highlight. Bit crowded at the start but it spread out once we got going. Sand boarding is harder than it looks but worth the tumble. Bring sunscreen – you’ll need it.

We booked last min and SO glad we did! The staff are super patient (I’m a nervous swimmer), and made sure I was comfy with the snorkel gear before we went in. Kayaking was a dream, water is way clearer than I expected. Sandboarding was a little scary but FUN. Bring a hat, sun is intense out there.

Went with my partner. Ferry ride was smooth, activities well-organized. Lunch wraps were decent, nothing fancy but filling. The snorkeling was the best part, but wish we had more time to explore. Guides kept things lively and the group energy was good. Would recommend, just know it’s a packed day.
