We loved visiting the monestary and Basilica and seeing the Black Madonna. The whole area is beautiful to walk and you need a full day to really get the most out of this experience. The museum was wonderful and not overwhelming as was the audiovisual experience that you enter from the gift shop. I highly recommend this activity. The trickiest part for us was finding the correct place to pick up the tickets. There are 2 stops on the train from Barcelona for Montserrat and you get off at the 2nd one which wasn't really explained. Hold on to your train ticket because you need it to return.

Booking and redemption of tickets was very easy. Journey to Montserrat was very enjoyable and everything flowed nicely. The views were stunning from the top and as you wound your way up the mountain side. All together a great day and highly recommended.

The ticketing process was confusing when I booked with you. When asking the timing I thought when we wanted to start the trip from Barcelona. Tried changing it but would not let me. I called Headout and you did not allow me to change it. We went to the place to get tickets for train in Barcelona. It was confusing of where the ticket office was. Plus the people at the ticket office were rude and did not say what they wanted from us and spoke Spanish to each other so we could not understand what they were saying. We finally got to Monserrat and the staff there was very helpful and explained everything to us.

I had problems with the online ticket at the rack railroad. The QR code is not readable at their entrance controls and after a long discussion they let us take the train. Both up and down.
